Ahaha I like how all the letters look like theyre capitalized in the site design. I was excited for this game, and I had as much fun as I thought I would. I really like how I have to figure out what letters to press to possess people, though i died at the second round because I couldn't identify the letter :')

I really liked this game! The drawings are amazing and i really love the unique art style of it as it contrasts the really scary demon aspect. i really liked how the hints were hidden and i think that is a really immersive addition. the interactivity of the game was very well done as well.

This game was quite fun as I had to figure out how to evade the demon officer with subtle hints that are super easy to miss (I still have not yet gotten it completed yet). I appreciate that you added in a timer in addition to what seems to be a mistake limit so as to create strong tension for this game.

very clever game. Without spoiling much, I like how you hid some of the answers. They can easily be skipped if someone is not paying attention. The art style is also very simple but yet fits perfectly with the game’s goofy nature.

what a cute gameeee! Is all the figure handwritten by you? I love the sound effect like knocking sound, it really makes me feel immersive during the play. I am hoping to see more endings if asking for improvement.

This was actually the game that peeked my interest the most while playing the game. Love the visual and sound design, both whimsy and a playful serious vibe. Potentially having the written spoiler hints that you have on the paper in game might help the player if they’re feeling lost

Great game experience by seeing similar game art style and text. I can say sound, text and art combined together very well. Maybe the special event is a little bit hard to find.

THIS GAME IS FANTASTIC! The art style by itself does a lot for the story, but having the player try to look for the correct button in different ways such as having one of the letters be slightly blue is very clever. Like turnip was saying, the contrast of colors you use for both the characters and the text is very nice visual UI wise!

I really liked the story and the use of music in the game. I was honestly having a lot of fun and the use of water spray at the end made me chuckle. I would maybe suggest adding a meter that is shown to players that way when we make decisions it is shown how much we move to being detected.

I really like the style of your game, kind of reminds me of the mosquito animation you did for that class a year ago. My question would be how you come up with your story ideas and is it ethical for the spirit to be possessing that guy?

Originally I was going to make a game about interrogating something pretending to be human, but then I wanted it to be way more lighthearted so i switched to the player being the one trying to pass off as human and then the supernatural elements kind of filled in afterward.

Also since the spirit took control of the person without their permission, it is considered unethical. Always ask before possessing potential vessels in the future!

This is a very different take on the horror aspect, compared to the demo I played of "Apocalypse". I like the fact that it really forces you to think about what to do, otherwise you lose.

I'm a sucker for puzzles so this was really fun! Although it doesn't play like the puzzle games I'm used to playing, the scavenger hunt aspect is really fun and asks the player to really dig deep into, what I assume to be, your original artworks! Was second guessing my choices a lot.

This is a cross between a horror game (jumpscares, loud noises, etc) and an irreverent comedy. The crayon drawings just add to the genre combination; all of the colors are red, black, white, and blue, yet the drawings themselves are (mostly) non-threatening.

The artwork adds a second layer to the narrative and the continuation of the story. It gives the player a sense of agency over their limited choices and makes them feel smart when solving the clues!

the demon who is a spirit in your head makes it seem like it’s the “devil on your shoulder”. Or the spirit is actually your inner thoughts/impulse control. The demon officer is actually society/sociatal rules and living by what is deemed appropriate.

I really like the art of this game, I think it fits really well with the theme of the game. I appreciate how you play through the story seemingly not having choices, but looking very closely, you can find small clues throughout the game that help you reach the good ending.

I love this game! The hand drawn illustrations and dialogue really bring out the personality. I also appreciate your choice of using red and blue to contrast the two characters from each other as well as which words you choose to highlight with which color.

I enjoyed learning about this world and the set up of this predicament to avoid the demon officer. I like the idea of using different keys for different options (with how you also change the color of that specific letter). I managed to find some hidden keys that worked though I wasn't sure if that was intentional or not. I would like if there could be more visible options since it felt like I had to always blow the candle.

There is a ton of personality in this game, from the illustrations to the humorous dialogue. And hidden under it is a fun puzzle experience that can really stump you!

A very fun little story! While playing, I noticed a hidden option , and I really enjoyed that design choice. I might  try using a similar technique in one of my future projects.

  • the story of this game was really different from what I was expecting in a good way! I loved playing as this tiny spirit on a person. The illustrations gave it a very playful touch and are really cute. Good color choice too.
