Remains
REMAINS
One mistake. One mistake during a climb, and now you're fallen to the bottom of a deep, rocky gorge with no means of climbing out. Your only hope is for someone to save you. However, you aren't the first one stuck down here to hope for that.
Someone was here before you, and their hopes did them no good.
As you explore your new prison, uncover what's left of this stranger. What did they do as they waited for help? What were they thinking during their time here? What were they thinking on their last day here? What did they leave behind for those like you to remember them by? What remains of this person lies in your hands. Just don’t get too bored waiting for someone to save you…

Originally I just wanted to make a dry environment for the player to be stuck in, inspired by me feeling thirsty in class. However, as I continued to add more elements to the game and experimented with the more interactive aspects of game design, I was able to expand the underlying story beyond what I had in mind.

I appreciate how your game follows through the player falling down. The use of text in the game is quite nice as it is implemented well through how it looks like it is actual written text. Your overall visuals are very realistic and rich in texture. The fact that you can climb up on some cliffs but unable to progress further is an interesting choice as it seems to indicate you cannot escape. I love how the more you explore the more you pick up on the story, which is partly done through the text as well as the items such as the tent and skeleton.
